Samphire Hoe

Article text
If you are travelling to or from the Port of Dover, Samphire Hoe is a great place to stop and stretch your legs.

The approach is a bit tricky and not suitable for caravans or motorhomes, but for everyone else there are lovely, if a bit breezy, walks along the white cliffs of Dover. We've found it ideal for exercising our Cesky Terriers both before and after a ferry crossing. Dogs must be kept on a lead, and please don't forget to pick up poo - bins are provided.

You can find all the details - including the fascinating story of how this area was created - on the Samphire Hoe website.
