The first show of the season was held over the very cold and windy weekend of Feb 28th/Mar 1st at Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire.
The team of Cesky Terriers on display consisted of Erik, Pamatka, Anika, Vilem, Xaver and Daniel, who all had a wonderful time, even if they did spoil the image of tough little terriers by wearing their Equafleece Tankies on Sunday afternoon because it was so cold!
We met some old friends and made some new ones....
Our second outing was to Henham Park, near Beccles in Suffolk, over the weekend of March 14-15th
It was COLD, VERY COLD (those Equafleeces were needed again!) - but we had a great time, and met some very interesting people who asked about Cesky Terriers tackling a variety of tasks, including hunting for truffles and working with hawks.
The third show was at Ryedale in Yorkshire on April 18th and 19th.. What a lovely part of the country this is! As always, we had a great spot opposite the arena and were busy talking to interesting people all weekend. In between, we did manage to catch a glimpse of some of the displays. Most impressive was Maggie the Harris Hawk, who demonstrated how she works with dogs. When she came and sat on top of our tent we really did have a 'bird's eye view'!
We also enjoyed the display by the Burne Bloodhounds - and managed to snap a photo of our friend Kirsty Cussens from Indago Photography, photographing them.
Our fourth outing of the season was to Burghley House in Lincolnshire - a stunning venue, and the biggest show so far. This show took place on May 24th and 25th
Our team at Burghley consisted of Pamatka, Tomas, Anika, Vilem and Xaver.
This was Tomas' first show - but as you can see, he soon made himself at home!
Next we went to Rolvenden in Kent over the weekend of June 27th and 28th with new girl Kymera joining the team. It was HOT, boy was it hot! The terriers sensibly spent most of their time in the shade.
The Cheshire Game Fair takes place over the August Bank Holiday, so we had a big team in attendance in order to give the dogs time to relax - unlike the humans who were busy 'talking Cesky' all weekend.
Our team consisted of Todd, Mavis, Martha, Blanche, Connie, Pamatka, Anika, Kiki, Tomas and Xaver. In the photo are Xaver, Tomas and Anika, whilst Kiki and Blanche are on the table with Jayne.
Next it was off to Sandringham, September 12th/13th - new girl this time was Daisy, who fitted in really well and was soon meeting the public like an experienced professional. Here she is with Anika, ready to start work.
Although it's hard work for everyone, there is time to relax as well, and because the shows are held in beautiful surroundings we are privileged to be able to enjoy ourselves in some fabulous places - here's some of the gang, relaxing after a walk on the lovely Sandringham estate
The final show of 2015 was held at Bowood in Wiltshire over the weekend of September 26th/27th.
The team was joined by Jess on Saturday,
and on Sunday we had Bess and Bunty with the regulars - plus Bunty's 12-week old pups, Chilli, Ajax and Blanche.
You can imagine just how many cuddles they had throughout the day!
